TUDOR HOUSE MUSEUM

We finally made it to Southampton Tudor House Museum on Sunday.
The house has been closed for a long time due to refurbishment work and I have to say they have made a very good job of it. When you go in, the first room you enter is the Banquet Hall where you get a ten minute audio introduction with special effects, (hope you're not frightened of ghosts).
After this, you are led through to the gardens and the rest of the house, via the very new Cafe.
The gardens are enclosed by some of the original old walls of Southampton, there is even a sea view. The rest of the house is full of interesting relics from the past. The best way to find out more is to visit, it's well worth the entrance fee!
Tudor House is open daily from 10am to 5pm.
In the coming weeks I shall be adding places of interest in Southampton to my website at My-Travel
