Took a drive to Calshot Spit and Lepe on Sunday, wow! It was beautiful, the sun was out and the wind was blowing, ideal conditions for the boating enthusiasts.
We walked along the beach at Calshot all the way down to Calshot activities centre where we had a cuppa and a plate of chips (yum). The views were fantastic, could have stayed there all day.
Instead we drove another two miles along the coast to Lepe. We parked right on the front and luckily enough someone very kindly gave us there parking ticket otherwise it would have cost us £5!
Anyway had a nice walk along the front which took a bit longer coming back ads the wind had gotten a lot stronger.
It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon and only 30mins from Southampton.
